Booking Process & Information
Can children share beds with parents?
At MEININGER Hotels, each guest has their own bed—including children of all ages. This approach helps create a comfortable and safe environment for everyone.
The number of beds in your room must match the number of people staying. When you book, you’ll need to select a room that fits your travel party and provides an individual bed for each guest.
For example, if you’re traveling as a family of four—two adults and two children—you’ll need to book a quadruple room with four beds. This applies to all MEININGER hotels.
Baby cots are available for infants, but they don’t count as a regular bed. On our booking engine, you can add one baby cot per room free of charge after selecting your room. Even if you add a baby cot, the total number of booked beds must still match the number of guests, including children.
This setup follows local safety regulations and ensures there’s enough space for everyone. It also helps our team prepare your room in advance so everything is ready when you arrive.
