We know that plans can change, and you might need to adjust your booking. We’re here to make that as easy as possible! Just keep in mind that if you booked a non-refundable rate, like our FIX offers or other prepaid rates, changes aren’t possible. If you booked a FLEX or other (semi-)flexible rate, follow these steps to change your dates.

Direct bookings: Whether you booked directly through the MEININGER Hotels website, by phone or email with our team, or in person at one of our hotels, changing your dates online is simple. Here’s what you need to do:


  1. Log in to Manage my booking: Head over here to the 'Manage my booking' area on the MEININGER Hotels website. Enter the last name linked to your booking and your reservation number. If you booked as a company or organization, use the organization name as the last name—both details should be in your booking confirmation.
  2. Select the ‘Change booking’ option: After logging in, find and click on the 'Change booking' option, then choose 'Change dates of stay'.
  3. Check availability and prices: Browse the calendar and pick your new travel dates. The tool will show you availabilities and prices for the new dates. Remember, date changes depend on availability and may affect the cost of your stay since rates vary.
  4. Confirm your changes: If you’re satisfied with the new dates and prices, go ahead and confirm the changes. An email will be sent to confirm your update. If you don’t see it, be sure to check your Junk or Spam folder.


Bookings through third-party websites: If you booked your stay through a third-party website like Booking.com or Hostelworld, you’ll need to make changes through their platform. Here’s how:


  1. Log in to your account: Go to the website where you booked your stay and log in. You’ll need your reservation number and possibly a PIN code or another identifier from your booking confirmation.
  2. Check availability and update your booking: Look for the option to change dates. If it’s available, select it and follow the steps. If the option isn’t there, it might be due to technical limitations on the website. In that case, refer to the website’s FAQs or contact their customer service for help. Some sites might require you to cancel your current booking and re-book for the new dates.
